The cheese stands alone!
A gruyere from Switzerland is the big cheese champion. Bern, Switzerland cheesemaker Michael Spycher’s Gruyere was named the 2020 World Champion Cheese at the World Championship Cheese Contest at the Monona Terrace Convention Center in Madison.
Wisconsin cheeses were medal winners in 13 categories.
