9.24.2018: The Sheriffs Department confirms that Strong was taken back into custody.
The Barron County Sheriff’s Department is looking for a man who walked away from the jail. 30 year old Michael Strong of Barronett failed to return to the jail last night after being out on Work Release Huber. Strong was in jail on Methamphetamine charges. If anyone has information about his whereabouts, please contact the Barron County Sheriff’s Department. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.
