MORE PEOPLE “CHECKING OUT” LIBRARIES

People in rural Wisconsin are visiting the library more than usual.  According to a report from the Wisconsin Policy Forum, rural library visits went up 40 percent from 2008 to 2018.

This comes around the same time a Department of Public Instruction report says 28 percent of the rural population in the state doesn’t have access to the Internet.
