A woman who temporarily worked for Eau Claire County is looking at jail time after investigators say she stole 20 thousand-dollars.
A judge recently sentenced Susan O’Connor to seven months in jail. Investigators say back in 2018, O’Connor wrote herself a check for 15 thousand-dollars and wrote her landlord another check for five grand. Prosecutors say O’Connor paid her bills and even took a trip with the stolen money. She pleaded guilty to the charges back in November.
