It’s not exactly vacation season right now, but our grey winter days might have you day dreaming of a beach and sunshine.
A national travel group is using today to suggest that you start this year’s vacation planning now. The U.S. Travel Association has declared this “National Plan for vacation Day.” The group’s president, Roger Dow, says taking vacation has all kinds of benefits. Yet many Americans no longer take all their vacation, fearing stressful extra work they have to do before and after and a possible loss of job security. The U.S. Travel Association works to increase travel, which Dow says adds two-and-one-half-trillion-dollars-a-year to the U.S. economy and supports nearly 16-million jobs.
