Foxconn is set to become Racine County’s largest taxpayer, by far.
The county is set to value Foxconn’s being-built plant in Mount Pleasant at 522-million-dollars. Once that happens, town leaders say Foxconn will be worth more than all of the county’s other manufacturers combined.
Mount Pleasant Village President Dave DeGroot yesterday said no one in Racine County has ever seen anything like Foxconn before. DeGroot also says the work going on now is just the first of many phases to come.
