Governor Tony Evers is creating a commission to draw up new legislative maps.
Evers wants the Legislature to consider the new maps following the 2020 Census. Evers supports redistricting reform and wants to take the responsibility away from the Legislature and put it in the hands of a nonpartisan commission. Evers created the commission today with the signing of an executive order.
