Governor Tony Evers is calling for a special legislative session to deal with the challenges facing the state’s agricultural industry.
The governor says he has a three-pronged approach to address the challenges and it starts with a special session of lawmakers. In last night’s State of the State address Evers says he wants to increase the state’s dairy exports 20-percent in the next four years and wants to expand the farm-to-school and farm-to-fork programs.
