NO “NO” VOTES FOR NATIONAL GUARD FREE COLLEGE CLASSES

Every single National Guard member in Wisconsin could soon get some guarantees about their college classes.

The state Assembly on Wednesday approved a plan to allow all guardsmen who are deployed to drop college or grad school classes free of charge. Right now, Wisconsin only allows troops who are deployed for longer periods of time to have that flexibility. The proposal passed without a single ‘No’ vote. It now heads to Governor Evers’ office.
