Wausau and Wisconsin Rapids have both declared snow emergencies.
In Wausau it remains in effect from this afternoon until 10:00 tomorrow morning. In Wisconsin Rapids the emergency is effective from 10:00 tonight until 1:00 tomorrow afternoon. Officials say drivers need to get their cars off the streets so that plows can remove snow.
