More than 200 thousand voters in Wisconsin could soon have to re-register to vote.
The Wisconsin Election Commission is set to meet this morning to decide what to do about a judge’s order that would remove 234 thousand-people from the state’s voters rolls because they have either moved or haven’t answered questions about their addresses.
The commission initially refused to abide by the judge’s order to remove the voters. Today’s meeting could end with another refusal, or a work-around. There is a legal challenge to the order in federal court, and another challenge that’s likely headed for the state supreme court.
