A blood drive is underway in La Crosse.
The Versiti Blood Center of Wisconsin is holding the event today until 1-p.m. Those interested in giving to others something of unmatched value can do so at the La Crosse Center. Organizers say type O Negative is at the top of the blood bank’s needs’ list but all blood types as well as walk-in donors are welcome.
