An elderly woman is fighting for her life after what deputies say looks like a drunk driving wreck in Monroe County.
The sheriff says it happened about 2:30 yesterday morning on Highway 21, just north of Tomah. The victim, 73-year-old Garrene Peasley, was found in the front yard of a house after the crash. Deputies arrested 36-year-old Charles Davis Jr. of Tomah on OWI charges. Investigators are not releasing any other details about the wreck.
