A traffic stop leads to arrest for a 35 year old man. It was just after 5 on Tuesday when Derrick J. Peterson was stopped by a Trooper for speeding on the North Crossing.
Upon making contact with Peterson, the Trooper noticed the odor of burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle. Peterson was asked to perform field sobriety tests and clues of impairment were observed. Peterson was arrested. He was charged with OWI 6th offense, possession of THC (marijuana) and drug paraphernalia, speeding, and operating after driver’s license suspension.
