Two residents will celebrate momentus occasions together this week at Grace Edgewood Assisted Living with a birthday celebration.
Emma Perry will be turning 104 years old on the day and Chuck Manke will be turning 102 years old in December.
Emma Perry was born in Barron County on November 27, 1915. She married her husband Arthur and together they have two daughters. “Emma loves to have a good time and enjoys speaking both English and German
fluently,” said Holly Goeppinger, activities director.
Chuck Manke was born on December 20, 1917 in Eau Claire. He has two daughters with his wife Birdie. “Chuck served in the U.S. Army, was a big hunter, and prided himself on owning a Cadillac,” said Goeppinger.
The birthday festivites will include refreshments and music by Sarah Van Goor.
