Governor Scott Walker says nearly 560-thousand eligible families filed for the child tax rebate. Almost 95-million-dollars was returned to families through the rebate program, which ran between May 15th and July 2nd. Wisconsi’s Child Sales Tax Rebate and the Back to School Sales Tax Holiday were both adopted because of a state budget surplus of almost 400-million-dollars at the end of the 2017 fiscal year.
