Dairy farmers in Wisconsin are producing more milk with fewer cows.
The latest numbers from the USDA show milk production in Wisconsin, and across the country, is up just over one-and-a-half-percent from this time last year. The new report says farmers are doing it with slightly fewer cows. Wisconsin is still the second largest milk producer in the country. California remains the largest.
