September is National Baby Safety Month and one area of safety concern is safe-sleep for infants.
Experts say some deaths could be prevented and advise that babies sleep alone in a crib, on their back, on a firm surface with a fitted sheet only. There should be no loose items in the crib like blankets, toys, pillows or bumpers that could cover a baby’s face.
