Governor Tony Evers wants Wisconsin to take full advantage of next year’s census.
The governor yesterday ordered the creation of another task force, this time to focus on counting everyone in the state. The governor’s new Complete Count Committee will lead the effort to count everyone in Wisconsin, whether they are in this country legally or not. Evers says hundreds of billions of dollars are on the line in the 2020 Census, and he doesn’t want to miss-out.
