LOCAL RADIO STATION TUNES INTO COMMUNITY

Habitat for Humanity is currently working on a home for a family in Mondovi and that connects many people in our community, including a local radio station.

Today’s Variety I-94 recently provided more than just the soundtrack for pounding nails. Thanks to the generous donations of listeners the station was recently able to contribute over a thousand dollars to the I-Build project.

Habitat for humanity it isn’t just about building homes. In fact, they also stay busy in our area helping local people with local projects including preservation and other repairs and even window replacement to help prepare for the winter season ahead. (pictured below)

And, it takes a village! In the Chippewa Valley, many local businesses are also involved in making house a home. Among those involved in the current Mondovi project, Rock and Tait will be donating the roof and roofing installation on the home, and there is a generous anonymous donor who will be setting the trusses.
