The Trump Administration is planning on a rule change in the food stamp program that could cost 40-thousand Wisconsinites their benefits.
Under the changes, computer upgrades and operational costs, including worker retraining, would total almost 20-million dollars, half of which would be picked up by taxpayers. The added costs would cut into benefits going to Wisconsin residents eligible for food stamps.
