A local school district is saving over 350-thousand dollars a year on energy costs.
A newly-released Focus On Energy study shows the La Crosse School District is one of several that has seen a 23-percent drop in energy use. The district says they’ve avoided over 10-million dollars in energy costs since 2002. They want to continue energy efficient projects, like continuing to install LED lights and improving the boilers.
