VAPING RAISING AGE QUESTIONS

VAPING RAISING AGE QUESTIONS

Three of Wisconsin’s largest school groups say the recent wave of people made sick by vaping shows the need to raise the smoking and vaping age to 21.

The Wisconsin School Administrators Alliance, the Wisconsin Association of School Boards, and the Wisconsin Rural Schools Alliance on Friday said lawmakers must act to address what they are calling a crisis with teen vaping.

Wisconsin’s proposed Tobacco 21 law would stop stores from selling tobacco or vape products to anyone under 21. Doctors are not sure what is causing hundreds of cases of vape sickness across the country, but most of the people who have gotten sick say they vaped illegal marijuana cartridges before having lung problems.
