A woman was arrested for looking to have someone killed.
It was about 11 on Thursday morning, members of the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office, the Wisconsin Department of Criminal Investigation, and the Chippewa Falls Police Department, took a 47 year of old Melanie S Schrader of Chippewa Falls into custody regarding a murder for hire investigation.
Officers learned that Schrader wanted to have a male acquaintance killed, and, after speaking with Schrader a meeting was arranged.
During this meeting, Schrader provided money, an address, and a photograph of the person she wanted killed.
The Melanie Schrader was taken into custody without incident.
