An accident on Saturday afternoon sent one to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
It was just before 4:30 when a farm tractor was struck by an automobile as it crossed WIS 72 on 430th St east of Ellsworth. The driver of vehicle, 56-year-old James Phernetton sustained non-life-threatening injuries while the tractor driver, 78-year-old Harvey Dohrer was airlifted to a hospital.
The crash is under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
