The following message was sent home to families in the Eau Claire North School District today regarding inappropriate behavior from a staff member:
Dear North High Families,
Providing a safe, caring environment for your children is our most important responsibility in the Eau Claire Area School District. We take this responsibility very seriously.
On Wednesday, March 25, 2026, we learned of alleged inappropriate conduct by a staff member. The North High School and District Administration contacted law enforcement immediately upon learning of this allegation. The staff member has been suspended without pay, pending legal resolution.
The ECASD will continue cooperating with the Eau Claire Police Department as they investigate this matter.
Learning about alleged inappropriate conduct by a staff member is deeply troubling for all of us. We kindly request that the school community respect the privacy of our students and their families and refrain from spreading rumors or speculation. Our Student Services staff are available to help any child or staff who may be experiencing difficulties with this news.
