The UW – Madison women’s hockey players who took part in the Olympics are back in Wisconsin.
The gold-medal winners who played for Team USA arrived at Dane County Airport Monday night following their trip to Italy. That includes current players Ava McNaughton, Caroline Harvey, Laila Edwards, and Kirsten Simms. Former Badger players Hillary Knight and Britta Curl-Salemme were also on the USA roster.
The Americans won the gold medal against Canada in overtime last Thursday.
