The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Head Football Coach is resigning.
Matt Walker served at the helm for Falcons football for the last 15-years, helping the team win a program-record 14 games. UW-River Falls Athletic Director Crystal Lanning says Walker worked tirelessly to improve all the areas of the program including “the team culture, academic performance, and on-field competitiveness.” In a statement, Walker said that he feels good about leaving the program “in a better place than we found out.” He’s now going to Drake University to take over their head football coach vacancy.
