The Vernon County Sheriff’s Office reports that two people who fell through ice on the Mississippi River on Thursday are okay.
Two men — ages 62 and 64 — were on an ATV when it went through the ice and into the water near the Stoddard Boat Landing. The men managed to get themselves out of the water by the time first responders arrived on scene.
