Microsoft is advancing their plans to build 15 data centers across two Mount Pleasant sites.
This comes after the company bought the land in 2024 to fit nine-million-square-feet worth of new buildings. Mount Pleasant’s planning commission passed the site reviews and are allowing them to move forward. The village anticipates the project will bring in “tens of millions of dollars” in tax revenue along with 800-jobs to the area.
