Coulee Region lawmakers are introducing legislation that would limit insulin prices in the state at 35-dollars.
Representative Jill Billings and Senator Brad Pfaff proposed the bill, which caps insulin cost-sharing at that amount under covered health plans. Legislators say the proposal is aimed at preventing people from rationing or skipping their medication due to high prices. Supporters note that more than 25 other states have enacted similar insulin price caps.
