Gov. Evers Extends Energy Emergency

Governor Evers has signed an executive order to extend an energy emergency in the state.

Executive Order number 284 states the demand is greater due to winter weather conditions throughout the region. The order addresses ongoing supply challenges due to a pipeline disruption. The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin’s Office of Energy Innovation reports that suppliers continue to face challenges, including longer driving distances, causing delays.

Executive Order number 284 extends waivers on certain state and federal regulations to help suppliers overcome pipeline and weather-related delays.
