A bystander is being credited with rescuing a person from a Stoughton house fire.
The blaze broke out Saturday morning, and there was a person inside the home with a broken leg. First responders say a bystander was able to get that person out before they arrived. The person was then taken to the hospital for treatment, and crews had the flames extinguished in an under an hour. It’s unclear what started the fire.
