The Waukesha teen accused of killing his mother and stepfather in their home last year has officially pleaded guilty.
Court records show 18-year-old Nikita Casap admitted to two counts of first-degree intentional homicide. Investigators say the killings were tied to an extremist plot that included plans to assassinate President Trump. Casap was planning to plead guilty earlier this week as part of a plea deal. Prosecutors say several other charges were dismissed as part of the deal, but will still be considered during sentencing in March. Casap faces a potential life sentence.
