State Officials Announce Water Infrastructure Investments

State officials are announcing a 484-million-dollar investment to upgrade wastewater infrastructure across the state.

Governor Evers says the investment is aimed at improving water quality by reducing pollution and replacing aging systems.  The funding will support 82 municipalities, with an emphasis on small and disadvantaged communities.  Money is being distributed through the Clean Water Fund Program and includes both low interest loans and principal forgiveness.
