Sparta firefighters were dispatched on Christmas Eve morning to a location on Alpine Avenue.
Witnesses describe a scene in which a garage fire spread to multiple vehicles and a home. The home suffered extensive damage and the garage was destroyed. A firefighter suffered an ankle injury at the scene. No one else was hurt. There’s no word yet on the cause of the blaze.
