On Saturday, December 20, 2025, at approximately 12:21 a.m., The Eau Claire County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a single vehicle crash with reported injury, near the E25600 block of County Rd. G, in the Town of Wilson. It was reported that a single vehicle was off the roadway and it appeared that a subject had been ejected from the vehicle. Witnesses on scene attempted life saving measures until first responders arrived on scene and took over care of the patient.
Lifesaving efforts were performed by first responders, which were unsuccessful. The subject was pronounced deceased on scene. Based on the preliminary investigation, alcohol and speed were contributing factors in the crash.
