Wisconsin’s FoodShare program will not see new restrictions next year.
It comes as nearly 20 other states prepare to limit what SNAP recipients can purchase. Wisconsin FoodShare currently restricts purchases of alcohol and tobacco products, certain health products, and hot food served in stores, among other things.
Over 350-thousand residents in Wisconsin are currently using the benefits.
