Rhino Care Center Opens in WI Zoo

A new facility at the Milwaukee County Zoo is open to the public. 

The Ladish Co. Foundation Rhino Care Center officially opened yesterday following the completion of construction in September.  Inside the 61-thousand square-foot facility is also the Robert Dohmen Hippo Indoor Haven, along with yards for zebras and red river hogs.  Officials noted the new enclosure will help bring guests closer to rhinos and hippo, and gives people another option to view the animals during the winter months.
