Move Over Law Expanded

State lawmakers have expanded the Move Over Law to include disabled vehicles stopped on the side of the road.

Governor Evers signed the bill into law yesterday.  The legislation requires drivers to move over or slow down when approaching vehicles with hazard lights, flares, emergency devices, or people attending them.  Violators can face fines up to 300-dollars, with more severe penalties in the event of a crash or injury.
