A woman convicted in the “Slender Man” stabbing in Wisconsin is no longer being held at a jail.
Multiple reports say Morgan Geyser’s attorney requested she be moved to a mental health facility while awaiting a hearing on her conditional release. Geyser escaped a group home in Madison last month after cutting off her ankle monitor. Authorities found her the next day at a gas station in Posen, Illinois, with a companion. Geyser was convicted for the 2014 stabbing of a classmate to please the fictional character Slender Man. Officials have not confirmed her current location.
