A man has been arrested for allegedly making a threat against the Waukesha Christmas Parade.
Police say the social media message began circulating Sunday, before the start of the event. While they didn’t give specifics, they say the comment, as well as the timing, was cause for concern. The unidentified suspect was eventually located and arrested, and the parade went on as scheduled with additional security measures put in place. The incident comes four years after Darrell Brooks drove his SUV into the Waukesha Christmas Parade, killing six people and injuring dozens more.
