State Of Emergency Declared Amidst Cold Temps

Governor Evers has declared a state energy emergency due to pipeline disruptions and extreme cold.

High demand for heating oil and propane triggered the order, which waives certain state and federal hours-of-service rules to speed fuel delivery.  This comes amid supply issues in the Midwestern pipeline system.  Terminals are reporting long lines and drivers traveling longer distances to obtain fuel.  The measure is expected to stay in place through January 2nd.
