Sheriff Hakes recently recognized a generous donation to the K9 Officer program:
Thank you to Harold and Shirley Aamodt for their generous donation to Chippewa County Crime Stoppers in partnership with the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Program.
This contribution helps ensure that the Sheriff’s Office can continue serving the citizens of Chippewa County by supporting officer safety, assisting with search and rescue operations, detecting illegal drugs, and enhancing overall community safety.
Because of this donation, Deputy Oeltjen was able to complete training with K-9 Vader ahead of schedule, ensuring there was no lapse in having a fully operational K-9 Unit available to the Office.
We are deeply grateful for this support and the positive impact it has on our community.
