An evacuation order for a portion of downtown Eau Claire has been lifted.
The order was put in place yesterday after a vehicle struck a gas meter behind the Houligan’s Steak and Seafood restaurant on South Barstow Street. The order was a precautionary measure and there were no reports of injuries.
