There is a new officer in town! Below is a message Chippewa Sheriff Travis Hakes:
“I would like to notify you that today is K9 Vader’s first patrol shift with Deputy Oeltjen! They graduated from 14 weeks of training on Friday. I am (as we all are) very proud of Deputy Oeltjen and Vader. We look forward to continuing our K9 program so seamlessly after the retirement of Max. This would not have been possible without the generous donations we have received from the community.
I wish K9 Vader a long, healthy, and happy career!”
