Gov. Evers Vetoes Bill Involving Unemployment Requirements

Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers has vetoed a bill that would relax unemployment requirements. 

It would have extended the amount of time that employers have to respond to unemployment claims.  Proponents of the bill argued that employers don’t have enough time to respond to claims because of delays in the U.S. Postal Service.
