22nd Annual Women’s Business Conference Set in Eau Claire

The 22nd Annual Women’s Business Conference, presented by the Western Wisconsin Women’s Business Center, will be held from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the Pablo Center in downtown Eau Claire.

The conference is expected to attract more than 300 business owners, aspiring business owners, entrepreneurs, and exhibitors from across the Midwest. This year’s event features 75 exhibitors and 15 educational sessions on a wide range of topics, including business planning, marketing, legal issues, business finance, and current trends in business.

The day will begin with a keynote address from Sarah Stokes, a former TV news anchor and current small business owner, business strategist, international speaker, podcast host, and advisor for non-profit boards and brands. Her recent background includes publishing, scaling, and selling a women’s magazine and creating an award-winning global marketing agency.

Conference participants will attend educational sessions throughout the day and may choose from the following topics presented by local and regional industry experts:

  • Relaxation Session (Sound Bath)
  • Growing Your Business by Contracting with the Government
  • Powering Your Business Growth with Smart Branding & Digital Marketing
  • Understanding your Financials and Profitability

A sold-out pre-conference event is scheduled for Thursday, November 6th at The Coven in downtown Eau Claire. Sarah Welsh of Learn Better LLC will present “Empowering for Scalability,” a workshop designed to help small business owners build stronger teams and delegate effectively.

The 2025 Women’s Business Conference is presented by the non-profit Western Dairyland Economic Opportunity Council and the Western Wisconsin Women’s Business Center, which is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the U.S. Small Business Administration.  The conference is sponsored by more than 20 local businesses and supported by dozens of volunteers each year.
