Memorial Honors Band Crash Victims

A memorial for the victims of the Chippewa Falls band crash twenty years ago this weekend drew surviving family members, friends and the community to honor those who lost their lives in the accident.

There were five people killed in the crash October 16th, 2005:  Band Director Doug Greenhalgh, his wife, Therese and their eleven-year-old granddaughter Morgan, bus driver Paul Rasmus and student teacher Branden Atherton.  Money raised from the memorial supports the Chippewa Falls High School music program.
