Elk Season Set to Start

Thirteen hunters will take to the lands of the Black River Elk Range starting tomorrow. 

The group were selected at random from more than 26-thousand applicants for approval to hunt in the area with the start of elk hunting season.  The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources reports the state is currently home to more than 400 elk.
